This is the Hasting variant cover I did for the new Doctor Who #1, coming out through IDW Publishing this October. Pencils, inks and colors all by me.

When I was first approached about illustrating the cover they wanted something iconic. After a few rounds of that direction, Hasting switched gears and suggested a piece encompassing elements of all the Doctors. Well, that idea “clicked” so off to sketching I went. The only real concern was whether or not the BBC would approve the use of multiple Doctor items. Luckily, they thought the concept I came up with worked and they approved it!
